Stock Construction Management Services Inc. is a locally owned Corporation formed by Mike Stock based in Boise, Idaho. We offer more than 150 years combined experience in the construction management field. Our management team is made up of specialized and experienced personnel who have been involved in ongoing work in the Western United States including Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Utah, California and Nevada for the past 30 years. Stock CMS personnel is highly qualified, well versed, motivated and most importantly we enjoy what we do. The company utilizes its expertise in the management disciplines in order to achieve our team goals. Our wealth of experience in a variety of different markets has enabled Stock Construction Management to become an effective client representative. Serving clients on a “for fee” basis, we provide our expertise in design review, estimates, schedules, value engineering, change management, cost control, inspections, quality control, start up and commissioning. Our focus is to take a proactive approach in budget and schedule management; this includes a detailed schedule of values, which runs parallel to the bid breakdowns issued by the project Construction Manager. We also measure project progress on a weekly basis based on physical work in place. This protects the clients’ interest as projects move so quickly that a month is often too late to resolve the problem. Stock CMS techniques will provide effective risk mitigation for our clients. We also offer a wide base of historical experience with local contractors to provide the best cost/quality relationship in the timely completion.

PHILOSOPHY OF SERVICE

The appropriate project manager supported by proven systems and procedures is the essential ingredient that the contractor controls to enhance the chances for a successful and safe project. Unless these elements are melded into a unified and coherent organization, even simple straightforward work can go awry. Our philosophy mirrors this basic principle of construction and every effort is made to ensure that the right candidate is selected for the right job and has the proper tools. A project manager’s skill and experience determines the character of the project team, their efficiency, effectiveness, attention to safe and sound construction practices and quality of work. Our project managers understand the importance with which projects are viewed by our clients and appreciate the need for close, cooperative and single-minded focus on the objectives. Each manager is responsible for the performance of the project. Within basic corporate guidelines, it is the manager’s responsibility to procure and allocate the resources that will be needed to accomplish the work on time and under budget. Accountability is the key to success and our project managers are the point of contact for all project work. Reliable and tested procedures and systems ensure that a project is on the right track from inception to completion. Since we have been designing and constructing facilities for over 30 years, we are confident that our tools are effective and dependable.
